Talkfirst — speak English out loud

Talkfirst is speaking practice with an AI partner: voice conversations, pronunciation practice with instant feedback, and spaced-repetition flashcards. You don't need grammar to start — you talk from day one and learn as you go. The interface and explanations are in English, Russian or Ukrainian. It works as a web app, inside the Telegram bot @any_lang_learn_bot, and as an MCP connector so you can practice from within an AI assistant's chat.

Connect it

Claude — from the connector directory, or as a custom connector: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, URL https://mcp.talkfirst.io/mcp. Sign in with an email code or Telegram when prompted.

ChatGPT — Settings → Apps → enable developer mode, then add an app with the same URL and OAuth sign-in.

Le Chat — add it as a custom MCP connector with the same URL.

The same account also works at https://app.talkfirst.io/app in a browser.

Plans

Free — 35 minutes of speech a week, 210 new reference audio clips a week, practice with the app's ready-made conversation scenes. Limits renew on Monday.

Pro — 140 minutes of speech a week, unlimited reference audio, your own conversation topics, all scenes. 500 Telegram Stars for 30 days, renews automatically; managed inside the Telegram bot.
